Dancer in mid jump in contemporary movement
Emily Sawyer Candid Chroma

I've always been someone who needs to create. For as long as I can remember, I've been finding new ways to bring ideas to life.

Over the past fifteen years, I've explored quite a bit. Photography and graphic design, product imagery, even wedding stationery. Each creative path has shaped the way I approach my work today, but one thing has always remained constant: my love for expression through movement.

Today, dance photography is the heart of what I do. Studio sessions give me the opportunity to connect with dancers, get creative, and celebrate what makes each of them unique. When I photograph a show I experience the anticipation, energy, and storytelling that go into bringing a showcase to life. I truly love being part of that process.

I believe in trying new things, especially when there's an opportunity to approach something differently. Alongside my dance work, I still love collaborating on projects like product imagery, portraits, graphic design, and wedding design for couples. If you have an idea you've been wanting to bring to life, I'm probably interested in hearing about it.

My approach is equal parts intention, collaboration, and curiosity. I love a good plan, but I'm also guaranteed to ask, "Wait, what if we tried this?" I'm here to support your ideas, bring a fresh perspective, and make something that feels thoughtful, personal, and entirely its own.

I work with humans who value intentional art, embrace individuality, and believe expression matters more than perfection.

Let’s make something.
